What will you do?

As a Sales Engineer Piping Supply, you will work from our headquarters in Emmen on international requests and projects involving valves, pipes, and flanges. You will combine technical expertise with commercial insight and communicate daily with customers, suppliers, and colleagues around the world.

Together with the Piping Supply team, you will ensure that customer requests are translated into technically sound and commercially attractive solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising international customers on piping solutions;
• Analyzing requests and preparing accurate, technically sound, and competitive quotations;
• Negotiating with suppliers worldwide, including in Europe and China, to secure the best commercial and technical terms;
• Managing projects from initial request through delivery and ensuring that orders meet agreed quality standards and deadlines;
• Collaborating with colleagues across Corlido and our international offices;
• Identifying new commercial opportunities, markets, and areas for growth.

You will join an experienced team where knowledge is actively shared, giving you plenty of opportunities to further develop your skills in both technical sales and international trade.

From Emmen, you will be in daily contact with customers, suppliers, and colleagues in the Netherlands and abroad. This allows you to combine a permanent base in the Netherlands with a truly international commercial environment.

Who are you?

You have a strong technical understanding, a commercial mindset, and enjoy turning complex requests into practical and commercially viable solutions.

In addition:

• You are a team player with a strong commercial drive and technical knowledge, for example in piping, steel, flanges, and valves;
• You have completed a technical bachelor’s degree or have a comparable technical background and level of professional experience;
• You are motivated by sales, negotiations, and winning new business;
• You are analytical, proactive, and able to switch quickly between different requests, projects, and systems;
• Experience in B2B trading, technical sales, or project-based services is a plus;
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
